My Diary I have had to chase for my Results

1 minute read time.

The postman didn't bring my letter today so I phoned the Surgery and made an appointment for my Second Swine Flue jab and was given Friday at 5.40pm I then asked to speak to my Doc's Secretary.

I told her I had realised that I didn't have the results from my Thyroid Bi-Op (what was I thinking of to let that slip it was done on December 9th)

I also said how I haven't received an Appointment to discuss what my CT Scan had found.

She said she will chase the Hospital straight away, but I have not had a phone call from her yet.

We were going through my papers and letters I keep in a folder since last year and  have a report from the Doctor that I have missed (I really must be in a daze with everything that has happened)

My Doc has written Clinical Features which indicate a severe progressive condition.

Breathlesness, pleural effusions, Extensive parietal. Visceral and diphragmatic tumour nodules.

Desease too widespread for surgery.

This was written before my Chemo so I'm glad I didn't read it properly before--  as I wait for the results of what the Chemo has achieved.

We have been out in the cold weather today, and that wind is so very cold, but the dog loves his walks doesn't he.

I have got the dog eating at last he loves chops and any fresh cooked meat. He must have been a dog fed on scrapes.

Louis

He loves a Polo and crunches it but he doesn't like dog biscuits. He is a spoilt dog.

He loves chasing the postman as he puts the letters through the Letterbox.

He has such a loud bark too but he is adorable even though he has been the hardest dog we have had but then all the others were girls and we had them from pups so we had done all the training.

Today he even let other dogs pass without any barking at them, the owners always glare at him when he does that while in Spain they laughed at him and thought him amusing.

Todays dinner for us was A Salmon and Broccoli Baked in a Cheese Sauce with Semolina and Gosberies for Sweet.

Today has been a good day

  • He is lovely but the Jack Russell cross withs a papillion and the poor home he had before us has made him a very nervous dog --he is scared of the dark.

He has never been able to pass another dog without barking at them he is an embarrasment really but Im getting there only by crossing over the road.

He hasnt eaten well but I have found he likes fresh cooked meat (its taken 3 years to find that out) he has eaten everyday for 2 weeks now--I think i have won--or he has the little devil,

lol Mavis i think you have both won!! what a lovely home he has now :)

I have a chinese crested dog that i rescued 7 years ago, she was so abused that I have never been able to take her walking properly, shes scared of everyone and everything, except other dogs at home even new rescues..all she needs is love and her home comforts. I think shes getting old now, but she has a little bit of confidence she never had before..she tells the other 2 whos boss lol, they leave her to her own comfy bed :)

These dogs can be a real challange can`t they but we wouldn`t swap them for the world..

Just read your blogs, and i thought i would tell you about this dog trainer on the tele, she has a program called

ME OR THE DOG . its on in the late afternoon  i think its on channel 6 you

can find what time its on in your news

paper. This lady is brilliant with dogs and

problems like barking at dogs and people,

also eating problems and biting, her

teaching is so simple and dogs really warm to her. Watching her program has

helped me to stop my dog from going mad when anyone knocks at the door,

and she would bite my feet to get to the

door first, just a simple instruction and

after just a couple of times she has not

done it again. And my dog is 12years old,and they say you cant teach an old

    dog new tricks. HUMBUG.

    Regards Lucy Lee. xxx

  • I will look out for the programe and watch as i love seeing how it should be done.

I follow Ceaser (The dog whisperer) and have got some way with his teachings.

I also keep a head Collar on but not with the lead as thats on his harness.

This does control him to listen to me by just being on and people can then come into my Home and Motorhome and he behaves well.

Also I use a herbal Calming Formula just to help his nerves.

I do love him and he has me under control (I just need to get the other way round)

    Love Mavis
