One month on

1 minute read time.

It has been a month since my dear Hubby drew his last breath, and cancer gained another victory :-(

I am missing him very much.

Silly little things, like telling him about something that happened, or getting him to help fill in forms (which I wouldn't need to be doing anyway if he hadn't have gone - but thats beside the point) paperwork was never my strong point, mind you nor was housework!

Also having someone else there to back you up with the kids when they don't do as they are told, on a plus side they are being helpful some of the time like offering to put the vacum cleaner round the floor.

Having to think about making arrangements to go out, as need to find someone to sit the children. Or worse having to do housework so people can come to my house rather than me go out.

During the day it's not so bad, except he doesn't keep phoning me to check how to spell things. But the nights when the kids are in bed and it is so quiet is worse. The number of times I have been watching something on TV and then gone to discuss it with Hubby.

Good job I have the "Warped" gang to keep me sane :-)

Hi Sue, I will do that. If he had his way the food network is alll we would watch. Actaully, I won't be watching it cos I can't keep my eyes open beyond 10pm these days but I'll let him watch whatever is on now. Thanks for making me sympathetic :-)

If you get lonely, I wrote a blog just now  that might take you the whole night to read so that should keep you busy till the kids get up.

I also like climbing trees but wouldn't dare at the moment... what with the sausages and creaky hips. It could get nasty ha ha

Oh and I meant to say in warped... how come you have a parakeets? I thought they lived in jungles and you are only 2 hours from Brighton and i know my geopgraphy is crap, but i don't know of any jungle that is 2 hours from Brighton unless you are driving a jet...

Goodnight lovey. Have a hug from me

Oh LM, I should have replied to this before, but just in case you pop in and see this. Parats are found in the jungle. Parakeets are smaller birds and can be found in suburban areas. The are all green and make loads of noise, especially when flocking together for the winter.
