    Not what we had hoped for as pain is getting worse for Ed. He has had his usual denial period and temper which is difficult for me to handle even though I know it is his frustration as he tries to fight the cancer. Turned a corner yesterday as i phoned oncology then told him afterwards.     Just got the phone call to say Ed starts chemo next tuesday if blood test ok on monday! At least he gets a chance, im so pleased !!!!!!!  Just feel a bit sheepish as i have posted a letter of complaint earlier. Still I do believe they could have been quicker, Ed has waited 5 weeks from last scan till now. All the best to everyone out there, keep fighting is all we can do, love leisha xxx

    Have a feeling we have done this before. Last August ed started having similar pain but went in denial. Insisted on going on holiday to Benidorm first week in September but we had to come home after a few days and he had bowel bypass Oct 2nd. Here we are again same pain, same denial but i insist on contacting hospital.

    Oncologist said constipation was causing pain even though Ed said he was regular. Anyway he has taken…

    Had a rough couple of days as ed became agitated and aggressive on Tuesday. had to get the mac nurse wed who got the GP out. he said it was all due to the steroids and gave ed a sedative.Ed was in and out of sleep for next 24 hours but fell over twice trying to get to the bathroom. Luckily he only got a couple of cuts and some bruising and is now feeling a bit better but still in bed. Doc also put him on patches for pain…

    "perfic" , family always say we are like ma and pa Larkin ( Darling Buds of May ). It was a dream day, lots of happy tears, even from the bride, and two estactic fellas who did their walk so proud and determined. Everyone is proud of their family on a wedding day and we were no exception.
