Have a feeling we have done this before. Last August ed started having similar pain but went in denial. Insisted on going on holiday to Benidorm first week in September but we had to come home after a few days and he had bowel bypass Oct 2nd. Here we are again same pain, same denial but i insist on contacting hospital.
Oncologist said constipation was causing pain even though Ed said he was regular. Anyway he has taken the Movicol which gave him more pain and he has had to stop taking it or live on the loo! Ed is now taking tramadol for pain and the macmillan nurse came and said to ring her if it gets worse. I will ring tomorrow as I am really worried now, Ed lost 5 pounds this week and can only eat a few mouthfuls but is managing to drink fluids, which he couldnt last time.
I dont know if they can do anything . Does palliative care mean no ops? I try not to think just plod on.
