    Well, all completed on the chemo front- 6 cycles of carbo/taxol all done, went to have the trial drug (ICON 7- avastin) on wed, and the results of the ct scan that I had on mon. all came back clear- CA125 is back down to 8, and all in all a good day, couldnt have the avastin as my bloods were rubbish, they wanted to give me a transfusion, but have had enough of having stuff put in my arm, so have opted for the natural…

    Hi guys chemo all done now! 6 out of 6 all finished, no defferals, no problems (apart from shingles after cycle 3) so why dont I feel elated? i was more excited about it after last cycle, not excited at all- rather am apprehensive now, not what I was expecting at all- its not that I am not gonna still be seen, I am on ICON 7 trial so will still be going every 3 weeks for avastin until jan. it all feels very odd. maybe…

    Hi all, just reporting that as of friday, 5 of 6 chemos completed! whoopee- the end is in site, bloods were ok after my panic which actually was the start of shingles- done and dusted now. I also found my CA125 from cycle 4, which was down to 8, after starting at mid 30 after the op, so I guess its working, so I am sure not complaining about the side effects at the moment ( give me a while- I will!)     Hi everyone, thought I would post this and see what happens, I have been, along with many other people i am sure, looking for articles and stuff about cancer- in particular ovarian cancer ( being selfish), and i read in the paper last week that there is a new magazine out aimed at people with cancer called c21. I had not heard about it so have ordered it online, has anyone else heard of it- it apparently launched in December…
