Had my 4th chemo on Friday- whoo hoo, that means only 2 left! My platelets had actually gone up! ( admittedly by only 1 point, but moving the right way for me). Hi there all, looking for some info. I have ovarian cancer, had 3rd cycle of chemo, Taxol and Carboplatin, on ICON 7 with avastin, and am recently experiencing short nosebleeds. Am trying not to blow my nose ( do you know how difficult that is?) and am aware that its to do with low platelets. does anyone out there know what I can do to help increase their production? I am living in fear of being deferred for my next cycle…
