Jan's Progress

Less than one minute read time.

Hi everybody...sorry I haven't been here lately to update you on Jan's  progress but I have been here in Glasgow for two weeks now and spending 8-10 hours each day with her at the hospital (Beatson) and I can assure you that she is doing just fine. The latest information from her doctors was that they have been watching her progress through the scans she has every Monday and her tumor has gotten "smaller and smaller". Where I come from...two "smallers" are better than one...and way better than none...!!!
The staff at the Beatson have been fantastic and have treated me like a "King" (pun intended..lol)
I also want to mention that another of our members here...WeeSteph...is one of Jan's roomies and has been a major inspiration to everyone she comes into contact with...when we can keep her away from going shopping that is...lol
I don't know how she does it but my hat is off to her.
Joycee and Jenifer...I owe you both a personal message and I hope you are both doing well on your tough journeys.

All my love and best wishes........Ken

Hi Ken. so glad to read that Jan is making good progress. Please give her my best wishes!

So,you have the staff at the Beatson wrapped around your little finger, lol!

WeeSteph sounds a lot like me when I was going through my treatment. I used to go to the shop every morning to get  bits and pieces for those who were not able. It's good to read that Jan has someone to inspire to,(not taking anything away from you Ken,lol)

Please keep us updated when you are able to.

Big hugs to you,Jan and WeeSteph.  Alison. x

    Hi Ken

I'm so glad to hear that Jan is doing well and that her tumours are shrinking!

It's also good to hear that you are being treated like royalty over there and that you are able to keep your sense of humour. I'm sure you've already been told that if your name was Joe, that you'd be: JoeKing!!!

I know that you are from Nova Scotia. I'm in Ontario, and can keep you apprised of what's happening in Canada.   :)

The Vancouver Canucks have lost the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins. That's about all that you've missed!!!

Big Hugs to you and Jan.
