    Hi all

    Mum is still in hospital and we have been told that medically there is no more that can be done for her. So it is only palliative care now. She is on morphine for the pain and seems quite at peace with herself.

    The only trouble is that she refuses to eat, she is drinking a little but the hospital think that they may have to put the drip back in to top up her fluids. They do not seem concerned about her non-eating…

    Hi all Mum In Law has just gone down for surgery this morning after weeks of uncertainty about whether she was going to have her op or not. Have just spoken to Dad In Law who is making himself busy at home today...... trying to fix the washing machine no less! Promised mum i would look after him for the next couple of weeks, but he is such a stubborn old sod that it's going to be a hard task lol! Sitting here at work…

    Hi This is my first post. Mum in law has angiosarcoma of the left breast (secondary - grade III). She has had 6 lots of chemo over the last 6 months, but not a lot has happened. They have offered her a radical mastectomy, but offer no guarantees. She is 74 and does not want a 10 hour operation. we know this type of cancer is very aggressive, and that the prognosis even after surgery is only about 46% chance of 5 year…
