    On Friday it will be one year since my diagnosis. In that year I have had the operation, all the chemo ( and I can tell you exactly how many needle sticks) and radiotherapy. I'm now on hormone therapy. Having lost my hair, it is growing back, a different colour and slightly curly. I went back to work for the last half term and have just started the new school year. I even managed a short holiday. Yep Life is looking up…

    The journey to Belgium wasn't too bad, although the coach driver lost some time travelling to Dover and so we missed the ferry, partly due to the customs people hauling us in to do a spot check on luggage.
