Been a litlte while but this stuff keeps you busy right?

The second round of chemo was pretty much worse than the first but he recovered a little quicker after it. It seems that maybe it is the chemo causing the symptoms after all but as he's just started his 3rd treatment I'm guessing we'll find out soon.

Because of the unexplained symptoms with the first round, the onco kept him on the 75% dose and upped…

Well as it happens I did get the GP out. I couldn't settle, so after talking to (in no particular order) Barbara at the Christie, Julie at Christie, Dr McBain's secretary, the GP's receptionist and the GP, we got a GP home visit and I scooted back over to meet him.

I spoke to him on the phone before I went over and I knew…

I think looking at my calendar it took two weeks to get from a general diagnosis to surgery.

On the Friday early afternoon we were at the stroke unit with a suspected stroke. After my Uncle has taken him to the docs they'd sent him straight there. I caught them up. They gave him a CT scan and after he'd come back and hung out the nurse came to the bed and said that the doctor wanted to see us, which was weird because…

Dad drives for a living, well he did. Although he's still employed its doubtful it will be for much longer. He drove til that first day in hospital without any trouble but hasn't driven since, the cars been sold.

At my granddaughters birthday party my dad had a headache. Unusual for him but not really something to worry about. What I didn't realise was that my dad, who lives alone, went home and spent the rest…
