Two month's ago the doctors, specialists, onocologist et al had my brother dead and buried within a very short space of time. His liver had virtually stopped functioning, his blood wasn't good, his kidneys were starting to fail and his bones were not looking too good either.
Yesterday he had his 4th chemo session and also got the results of tests they did on Monday. His bones and blood are great, his kidneys are back to functioning properly and his liver has regenerated to the point where it is virtually functioning normally. All the doctors, specialists and oncologist are absolutely amazed at this and one of them said he has never seen a recovery like it in such a short space of time.
The war is well and truly on and my gorgeous brother Gordy has won the first huge battle. We all know it's going to be a long hard fight but with this news we are all absolutely buzzing and living in hope that it continues.
Whoever answered my screams, shouts and prayers thank you! He's a fantastic bloke and the thought of losing him so quickly was simply too much to bear.
And it's Gordy's birthday on Monday - yes Halloween which could explain a lot! It's my nephew's birthday too so we are going to have a day full of celebration.
Much love,
Nin xxxx
