    It truly has been a beautiful Spring here on the Devon and Dorset border, with the slopes of the hills blanketed in flowers and the woods resonant to the sound of the world coming back to life.     I decided to re-write the 'About Me' introduction on my various blog sites to something that I felt better reflected my sense of humour, and how as my blog has progressed I have become more confident in my writing.     With the arrival of Purdey I have to get out, to release her from the monotony of a life indoors. Her sad eyes follow you endlessly, as she waits patiently.
