    Hi Everyone

    My mum went for a spine scan last Tuesday. Results came back yesterday....

    They have found a mass in the soft tissues in her shoulder, this is obviously what has been causing her so much pain.

    They have said she can have radiotherapy and booked her in for a consultation in December. We are happy they can finally give her something however we are all still a little apprehensive, scared and nervous as we do not…

    Hi

    Just an update really, mum has had more results from her blood tests certain areas are dangerously high and they don't seem to know whats causing this! She is seeing her consultant on Monday and then in for a MRI scan on her spine. Be put on a week dose of steroids and due to some pain in her back they have increased her morphine.

    I have asked to go with her for her consultation this time, hopefully this may help…

    Mum had her appointment with the consultant on Monday, they are sending her for some scans and blood tests to see if she is able to go onto taking Pazopanib (Votrient ®).

    Given us lots of information on it but obviously still not sure what to expect but hopefully she is able to go onto something that could possibly prolong her time with us... has anybody had any experiences of this type of treatment, anything…
