Monday after the sad news I received over the weekend today brought a huge surprise. One of my work colleagues gave birth at home to a beautiful 7lb baby girl called Emily. Nothing particularly unusual about that, she woke with backache and pretty much had the baby before her husband woke up.....so whats unusual? she didn't know she was pregnant!!! I still find it hard to believe but as I saw her two weeks ago myself…
Sunday is supposedly the day of rest......well not for Tony, he had a pond to finish digging and guess what folks....as with all best laid plans, the frog has disappeared from the bucket LOL Anyway, my darling hubby continues his journey to the centre of the earth. The hole wasn't very big but bag after bag of dirt came out of it.......I am sure if you tipped it all back in, it wouldn't fit! Finally the pond fitted neatly…
Saturday and I woke up to find Dexter curled up next to me on Tony's pillow and Ollie was snuggled into the curl of my stomach. The kids were all asleep and Tony was doing some overtime - long may that last! - so downstairs, cuppa tea and a quick nose around my emails, facebook and on here. Finished cuppa tea, washing on the go, garden cleared of dog poop - I can't wait for Ollie to learn to stand still and do his business…
Friday started well.....NOT Lara told me her netball skirt kept falling down?!?!?! I looked at it, size 28" waist, "your skirt was size 24" Lara, that might be why?"....."Oh wonder who's got mine?" (well whoever it is will have a bugger of a time trying to do it up LOL...like when we still convince ourselves we can get into our size 10 jeans if we lay flat on the bed...or is that just me). Finally get her sorted and write…
Well look what the cat dragged back in.......yeah me. Just want to say that I am holding James & Thomas responsible for any weight I have gained during the time the site was down....why.....cos I was soooooooo bored I was comfort eating LOL
I am not even going to try and remember what I have done during the long dark days of "without what now". However, I am just pleased to be back in amongst some friendly faces…
