The next few days

1 minute read time.

Hi all - time for the next installment of the waiting game.

Worked at home today - able to do quite a bit considering. Had a day of training yesterday which was great as I spent the day focusing on something else.

Wow I am becoming a domestic goddess - what do you do when you need to take mind off the 'what ifs...'. Change beds; tidy up, clean house; sort out washing; make yogurt; shop online - oops that should not sneak in there!

I have two more days before I go to see the nice man at the hospital who will either say - ah DB don't worry it is your age - we'll whip it all out and then you will be happy as a sand boy - what is a sand boy? Or he will say ah we need to do more tests as we can't be sure whether it is or it isn't. Then I shall play the waiting game again. Or he will say - well looks like it is - and at least i will know i suppose and continue to play the waiting game.

Thanks to everyone on here who is making this journey much easier to bear - never thought I would still be 'sane' (poetic license) after being told a couple of weeks ago about the possibility. I am still able to amile thanks to you lovely people. xx

Hi Daisy, I know only too well that feeling of waiting and worrying. At least if you are given a diagnosis you know what you are dealing with and take it head on, but our imagination runs riot whilst waiting.

Wishing you all the very best with the meeting with the 'nice man' at the hospital and let's hope he is a 'nice man'.

    Behind you all the way.

    Hi Daisy,

Did you get that corner under the beds/cupboards on top of the fridge?

Sod it put your feet up watch c**p on tv, better still do even more shopping online (you can send it all back).

My grandma used to say 'I wouldn't have another man even if his arse was hung in diamonds'  so if you do meet another I hope he is special in a good way ;)

Hugs and best wishes Helen xxx

    Hi Daisy,

Lots of good advice for you I see already. Don't forget a nice glass of vino in the evening.

Just like to add that my arse is not hung with diamonds, but I might consider doing that after the reversal.

Isn't it Tim? awww. I was going to ask for one.. :o)

Anyway, Daisy, online retail therapy is a good way to pass the time..

Let us know how you get on, and I know the waiting and wondering is scary, but just think most of us have done it and got the bad news and are still here being silly and that, so it will be ok whatever he says so a big hug to you and let us know what happens eh?

keeping various appendages crossed for you and hoping he says its nothing... that would be good.

    Let us know
