I am not sure if anyone can help but I am really confused as to what stage Dad is at and why he's not being treated.

Hi, I am new to the site and really not sure what to expect. As I have explained in the 'about me' my Dad was diagnosed with secondary lung cancer yesterday. I have joined the site in hope of being able to talk to people in the same situation as I don't want to burden my parents. I feel they have enough to cope with at the minute.
