    Well, I finally got my port put in and...now I have a whopping rash. They think I am having a latent allergic response to my first chemo, carbo/tax. Now it is off to the allergist team to see what it is I am really allergic to. I am taking benadryl and prednisone (?) for it. It could be worse. Tight hugs to you.

    The first chemo wasn't so bad. Although I am having some neuropathy already in my feet and fingertips and I have become so allergic to things!! I put cream on my feet and developed a rash! I am allergic to tape! What's next?? Could be worse so I am grateful for what is not worse. My boyfriend is feeling overwhelmed already. We are going to have a tough time together, if we make it. I have been knitting socks to…
  • First chemo is over

    You all have been so supportive...thank you! So far, a bit of restless legs during the chemo from the benadryl and a wee bit of a headache this moring. Now, I am just tired. I think it is from being so nervous about it all. I feel pretty well, all things considered. So...so far so good. My gratitude: I could feel much worse.

    I start chemo tomorrow and I must say, I am nervous. So many unknowns for my conditions(s). I can't wait for tomorrow morning to be tomorrow evening.

    No one is alone when it comes to ANY kind of cancer but sometimes when we need another's human contact it just isn't to be found...at least, we can't seem to find it. With the group 'Ovarian Cancer' we can find the human touch. We can laugh, cry, get info, give info...just be a person somehow touched by Ovarian CA. Welcome. A big tight hug for you.
