I need a moan

Less than one minute read time.

I'm feeling really cheesed off. My chemo is a 3 week cycle, 2 weeks of chemo and then 1 week of rest. On my week of rest I like to arrange a little treat and yesterday was one of those days. We had tickets to see Dame Edna Everage in Liverpool. Well my bowel had other ideas. Just a couple of hours before we needed to set off, I started with agonising stomach pains, my bowel had decided to go on strike., and I was REALLY uncomfortable. There was no way that I could even contemplate the journey to Liverpool and then sit through a 2 1/2 hour show................£50 down the drain. Poor old me had to stay at home, all alone. When my husband and sister returned just after midnight, they had brought home a gladioli that Barry Humphries had thrown into the audience. I now have the most expensive gladioli in the world. Will I ever be able to arrange anything in advance again????

Thanks for listening. I feel a  bit better now.................I think.

Oh Angela, bless you and stern words to your bowel!!!

Do not stop planning things, I now order you to plan your next treat and tell us all about it.

    Go on, get planning!!

I was going to book to see Only Men Aloud, who are appearing in Llandudno at the beginning of December. Not sure what to do. I've missed so many planned events over the past year. Even missed my hubby's 60th birthday bash last November, due to so called IBS,  which broke my heart. Perhaps I will book to see them, why should my bowel beat me...........I WILL defeat it!

Glad hubby and sister bought you a "souveneir" back.  Don't put off booking things Angela, you need those treats....."to look forward to" and focus on as much as actually doing them.
