This year I will be taking part in the Derby Race for Life 5K event on May 2009 in Darley Park, Derby. This is my first proper run and although I've been training for a while I'm nervous to say the least!
The money I raise will go towards cancer research (yes, that's scientific research) generally, but many of you will know that I will be running in honour of my husband Sean who has malignant melanoma.

Well done for doing the race for life, my sister, (Liz G who is also a site member) and I along with two othere sisters are also doing the race for life in Belfast on 31st May. I am doing it in support of my sister, and mother and also in memory of my stepbrother. Good luck with your sponsorship.
