    It would seem that 100mg of morphine is not a good thing to be taking… specially not 100mg plus a spoonful of syrup whenever I feel i need one.

    hmmm.

    I’m told that isn’t about pain relief its about addiction.

    And I’ve taken that and a reducing morphine regime on the chin.

    It felt quite bad having my syrup locked up in a drawer until the addiction word was mentioned at…

    Thursday was quite an exciting day all round…. Jane buggered off to London for some Christamssy shenanigens and my c-s-b came to visit.

    Now he doesn’t like being mentioned in my blog being a shy retiring creature but I can’t get round this day without mentioning him as he was the hero of the hour… so just forget you saw his initials and if you see him don’t mention it and certainly don…

    Feeling perkier today… feeling like i’d like to be doing stuff..a little bit of stuff beyond the lying in bed and dozing and reading I’ve been doing the last few days.

    But we still have no heating…. and thats a huge disincentive to removing myself from my cocoon in one of the ony two rooms with a still working radiator.

    As the temperatures get colder at night we are going…

    I’m sure it’s not only the nhs does this kind of thing… its big companies/corporations…. its about customer related experience…its about communication.

    We”ll  go back to yesterday during my first chemo session I had it all explained to me about how my lymphoma was a 1e and the ‘e’ means its not usually found where it has been ie totally outside a lymphnode…

    First chemotherapy session today… having been quite blase about it all I woke up this morning terrified, not just about an unknown process but the after effects, side effects etc etc.

    I was jolly glad my daughter was coming with me to hold my hand and drive the car… 6 hours is a long stint.

    We set off jolly early becuase of the ‘official opening’ of the hospital by Wills and Kate…
