    Things are changing...

    We had had our first Macmillan nurse visit and it was as if the weight of the world was lifted from my shoulders. I hadn't known what a care package was or that I could have had support. She managed to do in 10 minutes on the phone what I'd been trying to do for weeks.

    Well, now I'm grumpy

    I gave up a well paid job to look after Dad 2 years ago when he had mobility problems but since September and recent meso diagnosis has needed me for all his care/meals and is housebound.

    My brother is retired, doesn't live locally and isn't involved with Dads care but has said he wants to meet with Dads doctors, speak to Dad as he must get a Power of Attourney and he wants to use a friend…
