We’re writing this afternoon with an important update.
Tomorrow morning, Tuesday 11th August, the Community will be entering a read only state from 7am until 10am.
This is to allow us to fix two issues that we know users are experiencing just now. This maintenance will fix the below:
Whilst in a read only state, you will still be able to view the Community and read all of the discussions on the site, but you will not be able to log in or post. The main Macmillan website (macmillan.org) will also be unavailable from 7am-10am.
If you feel you need some support in the meantime, please remember our Support Line is here for you. Our teams are available 8am-8pm, 7 days a week on freephone 0808 808 00 00, or by email or webchat.
We’d like to say a huge thank you for your continued support and patience with us whilst we carry out these fixes.
If you have any feedback about the new site, or there’s anything the team can do to support you then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org.

Could we pin monthly chemo thread at top of discussions please . Also really miss our quirky signatures .
I just hope the "fixes" work -it is so annoying to keep being told that you are off line when you are not! Especially annoyed when posts are completely lost after taking a fair while to type!!
Thanks for that. Could you fix another problem at the same time? Clicking on the "Latest" link in the "Discussions" headers should take one to the last post in the thread, but it doesn't; it goes to the first one instead and one has to scroll down through all the old posts to find the latest.
It takes me several goes to login. It hangs and then does a bad gateway.
It looks like `I have to re-join the groups I was a member of now I can finally log back in, is this a transition issue ? or a blip
