Hi Gib and welcome! Glad to hear you’re doing okay! My op was in January 2022 and I also had adjuvant radiotherapy (and also brachytherapy). What grade and stage were you?

I am pleased that you have remained fairly well since your treatment 2 years ago. 

My treatment was in 2022- surgery, chemo and radiotherapy- other than some treatment side effects, I am still doing ok. Had 2 years of appointments every 12 weeks for checks and am now on patient led follow up for another year.

Hi.  I was told at first I was stage 1a but after my op stage 1b.  That's why they recommended radiotherapy. Which was actually brachytherapy.  Not a nice thing to go through but if it keeps the cancer at bay then im up for it.  While I was going through the treatment I lost my dad suddenly.  In fact the last day of my treatment was during his wake. I cried the whole time I was in the hospital and the poor nurses thought it was because of the actual treatment.  I couldn't get the words out for ages to tell them about my dad.  It was an awful time altogether.  I hope you are doing well.
