Hi. I had a post menopausal bleed that lasted 5 days. Went to GP who said it’s a concern for womb cancer. Had my internal scan done and it was 8.3mm. Had appt with consultant yesterday and she tried to do smear as im overdue and biopsies but she couldn’t do it. She said I would get an appt for hysteroscopy clinic and they would do them there. Im so scared. Im the one who gets anxious at blood tests. I’ve heard so many horror stories about the hysteroscopy and biopsies. Im honestly beside myself. My GP has prescribed single low dose of diazepam to take on the day to help and a google bam lol but just wondered what everyone’s experiences were like so im prepared.
