I have recently been diagnosed with womb cancer and tomorrow am having a pet scan, I am scared as my Dr said on the mri that I had it showed my lymph nodes are inflamed either side of my pelvis.. I am praying this will be ok. Anyone one else out there got thos type of cancer??
Also sorry if too much info, but is it ok to wear tampons?.?

I am sorry to hear that you have had a diagnosis of womb cancer.
My cancer was in 2022. Endometrial carcinoma sarcoma.
I can understand that it is worrying to have another scan but it is important that they stage the cancer in order to decide on the most effective treatment. There are many ladies on here all with different stages and grades so you are not alone.
Am not sure whether you can use a tampon during the scan so perhaps the best thing would be to ask the radiographer when you arrive tomorrow. Perhaps take a pad with you, just in case.
