I got my diagnosis 10 days ago, endometroid adenocarcinoma of the endometrium. Have also had my MRI and CT scan on Tuesday, so the waiting begins again. The mind goes into overdrive doesn't it, I've had a cough since before my biopsies and it suddenly got a lot worse, of course I put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5, I got checked today and my GP pretty sure it's just a viral cough PHEW. I know a lot of us must go through the thinking that any new symptom means cancer has spread, just to reassure you all, like me, panic, that it's only human to think this. I hope you are all doing well and coping
Hi
I found once the scans were done and results back- things moved quickly. The waiting is hard and all things start to go through your mind and I remember being aware of different sensations in my body and thinking the worst.
Glad the cough has been checked and is likely viral.
Fingers crossed you get your treatment plan very soon. In the meantime we are here if you need anything.
Jane
