At some stage during your radiotherapy you will have a meeting with a nurse to provide you with the dilators who will talk through things. They normally say to wait a few weeks after completing the radiotherapy before starting with them. The ones I had were 4 different sizes, and you can gradually increase the size as you get used to them. I didn’t have a problem, apart from forgetting to use them, so please don’t worry about them.
