I was told on Friday that I have Endometrial cancer. It was a bit of a shock, but I was expecting it to honest. During my Hysteroscopy (which was incredibly painful for me) I asked him if he could tell the difference between normal womb lining and cancerous lining and he said mine was abnormal! I also had a polyp removed which was just falling apart as he tried to get a piece for biopsy. I'm having a chest x-ray and mri tomorrow. The MDT meet on Friday, I don't have an appointment for the results as I opted to get a phone call as I get very anxious about going to gp/hospital appointments, my brain just goes into overdrive and over thinks things and I just end up a complete mess! Do you think I will get my results the following week? I didn't ask as I was in a right state and didn't think to ask!

At my hospital phone calls were often received on the afternoon when the MDT met. So if results were not in one week in time to be discussed, then it would likely be the following week. There can be differences though between hospitals.
