I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis of uterine cancer. 

I understand that it is a scary time and it can feel overwhelming. There are many lovely ladies on here who have had a diagnosis of different stages and grades of cancer who will want to offer you support. Please do reach out on here as much as you need. 

We do have the Macmillan Support Line available daily from 8am-8pm if talking things through would help. 

Have you got a treatment plan in place yet? I found that once I knew what would happen and when, things felt a bit more in control. I could then focus on one treatment at a time. 

My cancer was in 2022 and I had surgery, chemotherapy and then external beam radiotherapy.

Thank you Jane i am awaiting details of plan and hoping I am well enough for surgery as the pain and pressure on other areas is considerable.    Good to see you are still here after 3 years I am not ready for any of this.  I appreciate your reply so much 

I remember feeling not ready as well. 

Mine was also an aggressive type- there are several different ones but mine was a carcinoma sarcoma. 

I hope that surgery can be done to remove the cancer. Sometimes they can offer other treatments first- such as chemo to shrink the cancer so it can be removed. I remember meeting someone during one of my radiotherapy sessions and they had a stage 4 diagnosis- they were having radiotherapy to reduce pain and pressure in the area. 

Hopefully you will get answers from the MDT quickly about the next steps.
