Hi ive recently been diagnosed with endometriod adenocarcinoma and after scans I’ve been told it’s grade 1b. I’ve been referred to uclh and I’m waiting for their mdt meeting tomorrow to see if they will except my case.

The waiting has been awful and especially the last week I have been having awful pain in the bottom of my back, behind my csection scar and a shooting pain in my cervix.

I’ve contacted the gp and been told they will call me tomorrow (I’m already on cocodamol 30/500) but they don’t seem to doing much. Has anyone got any advise? Thanks

  • Hi Nix

I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis of endometroid adenocarcinoma. It sounds positive that they have provisionally staged it at stage 1b.

I am sorry to hear that you are in pain and unable to access your GP until tomorrow.

I wonder if it is worth calling NHS111 who would be able to advise whether or not to go to an urgent care centre for pain relief or access an emergency GP appointment for you today.

You could also give the Support Line a call and one of the nurses will be able to offer you advise.

    Jane
