  • Thanks so much for sharing this - I’ll take a look xx

  • Hi Florrie how are you doing? xx

  • I’m doing alright thank you Heartpulse - had my full abdominal hysterectomy on 4 June, so it’s been up and down, one day at a time.

I’m finding late afternoon and evenings the hardest times as the swelling and discomfort seems to be at its worst then, but the swelling goes down again after a good sleep. Had a very slight bit of bleeding the last couple of days but was told this could happen as the internal stitches dissolve and come away, but it still worried me a little as I’d had no bleeding since the op (which had been lovely as very heavy bleeding was one of my symptoms and I’m so relieved to be free of it!).

Taking each day as it comes and generally feeling a little stronger each day.

i hope you are okay too? Xx

  • Yes doing well had my full hysterectomy on Monday due to cancer out the same day which was a surprise as no youngster! My bleeding started back in March 18th so alot of stress build up but making good progress. Yes one day at a time good to still be here. Well done  keep positive sending love and support your way xx

  • The swelling and discomfort might still be trapped gas inserted in surgery have you tried peppermint tea and a warm hot water bottle I find this helps.

  • Thank you, I appreciate that, you too. We’ve got this!! xx
