im new here i haven't had a very good day today

  • Sorry to hear this, although none of us wished to be here, you will find everyone is very supportive. Do you want to say more about your day?

  • iv been feeling down but im not sure why it could be my hormones or my mental health playing up

  • Hi Doreenw

Welcome to the Online Community and the Womb group.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad day yesterday. The cancer journey is not an easy one and one that none of us would chose. If chatting things through would help, we do have the Support Line and they are there from 8am-8pm and they are lovely on there. It doesn't matter which stage of the cancer journey you are on, whether you are worried about cancer, going through a diagnosis or having treatment.

Also do reach out on here as much as you need to. There are a great bunch of ladies on here who will want to offer support and we all understand how tough it can feel.

How are you feeling this morning?

If there is anything you want to talk about or ask, please do so.

If you click on my name my profile will come up and you can see a bit about my cancer. I had my diagnosis in March 2022, surgery in April 2022 and then had chemo and radiotherapy. 2 years post treatment I am doing ok.

    Jane

  • ok thanks iv just trying calling the doctor s and they stopped doing anppmt s st 3pm i feel im not important

  • You are important.

The system for getting appointments at my GP is not great either. For urgent you have to call 8am on the dot and are in a queue. For routine it can be 2-3 weeks. Have you got an online consultation system? I tend to use that now, I put down the problem and then normally get a response the next day from the doctor.

Do give the Support Line a call if it would help.

  • nope they would change me i think it s decueding

  • Maybe give them a call first thing in the morning, if it can wait.

Alternatively may be worth calling NHS111 for some advice- if it is more urgent
