Hi All

Well its just the weirdest feeling isn't it to be told you have cancer! I had a small bleed just before xmas post menopausal I am 62 this year , so went to DR sent for 2 week referral had an internal ultrasound and then referred for a Hysteroscopy I was told I would have a call today with my results , they phoned me Tuesday to change to a F2F so I kinda new what was coming.

I am know having a CT scan on Monday ..I am the worlds worst scaredy cat on closed spaces having a panic attack already about it I will then get my results on Wednesday to see if its spread... its scary stuff isn't it .. lost of tears on and off today with hubby just be glad when Wednesday is here, all I can remember her saying is this is a genetic cancer and asking about family history. I lost a sister to Ovarian cancer ??

Guess I just want to say hello and I am scared of what's ahead but how amazing this group is from what I have read today and I am so glad you are here .

The waiting is defiantly the worst I have my F2F at hospital on the 29th when I should get more information..we are on this journey together , let me know how you get on...xx

I am hoping to have a date for my Hysterectomy when I have my f2f with the Dr on the 29th ..as I am grade 3 I am prepared for mop up treatment its the Genetic part of mine that worries me as it seems I have Lynch Syndrome and if that's correct then I will need to ask if my children need testing but then if that's the case then this is a blessing as it means I can makes sure they are tested and don't hopefully have to get cancer first ..double pressure ..but I have this I am a warrior ...I think we all are .xx

Hi . Yeh definitely a journey ahead. I am panicking in case my so called bowel inflammation diagnosed 2 years ago wasn't such. Same cramps just mostly all the time now..little bit nauseous too. Honestly I'm thinking the worse. Just want my appointment for my GA hystocopy and start getting some answers. Did you have any of my symptoms?. Let's keep positive and we will get through this.

we are strong warriors defo and hope you get your hysterectomy soon.

how long did you have to wait to get biopsy. im waiting for GA hystocopy and hoping its not too long

I had my hysteroscopy and biopsy on Xmas Eve ..not the present I was hoping for !! and I then was told on the 10th January that I had Cancer.

So hopefully once the biopsy is done you wont have to long to wait.

Ok not long then. I just want my biopsy done asap. I hope they fast track it. Yeh i

30th December I was sitting in doctors explaining the situation.

Not to far off but still a wait , its all the waiting thats hard .I had my consultant meeting and pre op on Wednesday now waiting for a date for a hysterctomy...
