I don’t think I did either - but didn’t need it anyway thanks to this group. I think I got a physiotherapy leaflet mentioning pelvic floor stuff from my CNS but that was about it.
I do think that this should be something that changes though ... I didn't even get a physio leaflet from the team at the hospital. Thankfully one of the lovey people on the online chat on here found me a physio leaflet when I had the bleeding after two weeks, but the exercises given are meant to be started on day 2 after surgery and I was already on day 14! Surely, it would be simple enough to ensure all women being discharged after a hysterectomy are given this information or even provide it at the pre -op appointment.
Hi I go a physio leaflet from CNS and was also sent following pre op directly from the physio dept.have a note to book an appointment with them after 6 weeks if I need to. It clearly varies between hospitals. My op is next Wednesday ( delayed by 2 weeks due to doctors strike).
