Just wanted to say that I’m really thinking of you today Barb, hoping and praying that whatever your scan has shown, there will be a good plan for the way forward.
This is a horrible day to get through, but you can do it. We’re all with you and sending love and strength and holding our arms around you through the ether.
Much love

Hope today brings better news on your treatment Barb - delays are so worrying, however short. Should Clatterbridge visit be essential we're happy to support you by offering sanctuary here if that's helpful. But let's hope it's not needed and that you can have treatment close to home. Thinking of you, and sending you lots of love and hugs, Linda
Hi Mrs BJH
I I hope you got some better news and an update with your treatment start, I have a very close friend who attends for immunotherapy every 4 weeks and is not unusual for her to get a calk telling her the drug isn't there and she ends up going a few days later, think it's just a supply problem. Fingers crossed for you sending gentle hugs
Hi Ladies, just a quick update. I've found out more now.
As I'm the first person to receive this particular combo of drugs in Lincolnshire for my metastatic cancer the chemo nurses have to undergo a couple of training days. Not for how to administer the 1/2 infusion, more for them to spot any potential side effects. Once the training's completed the pharmacy will be informed and go ahead and order the drugs in so it's probably going to be Friday or Monday. I've got to phone tomorrow at 3pm and I'll know more then. It was awful to be told it wasn't going to happen Monday. I started to imagine they'd changed their minds, they'd withdrawn the compassionate offer!
Anyway it's still happening, not a moment too soon for me as I'm getting more pain. I'll keep you all informed.
Hugs, Barb xx

Hi Barb. While it was unlikely they would withdraw the offer of the immunotherapy once you had signed the consent form it must be a great relief for you to know that it will be going ahead. You are truly a pioneer in Lincolnshire. Wishing you all the best and sending positive thoughts and hugs as usual xx
Hi Barb
Good to see you updating with positive news! Fingers crossed it’s not too long to get started now.
Sarah xx
Hi Walkinglady. I know I was being daft thinking that but it's amazing how your mind spirals out of control when you're stressed - we can all remember that!
Hopefully will know more at 3pm.
As always my sincere thanks to you lovely ladies, you prop me up when I need it.
Hugs to you all, Barb xx

I’m sorry I haven’t sent you a message before - I’ve been so wrapped up in my own misery that I haven’t been reading other people’s posts. When I joined, not long ago, you were a great comfort and support to me when I was at my most vulnerable, and I’d like you to know how important that was for me. I wish you every success with the immunotherapy, I’ll be thinking of you, and sending you a big hug, and much love xx
That’s wonderful Barb. Hopefully it won’t be long now - we always knew you were a trailblazer and now you’re doing it for all the women of Lincolnshire!
We’re all here for you - we’re the Womb Musketeers! All for one and one for all!
Big hugs
