Well, long time since I was here, but you ladies are the ones who will understand. Just had my first regular check up by phone after having MRI and CT scans at the end of last year to check for a possible recurrence. All was fine in the end, just a benign cyst on one kidney so nothing to worry about.
This was the first MRI or CT scan I've had, didn't have one either before or after diagnosis, so in a way it was quite good to have them to be sure all was well.
For the first time, I actually approached the regular check up appointment without trepidation!
Also quite excited that I've been "promoted" to 6 monthly check ups instead of 3 or 4 monthly.
It was actually quite nice to get a bit of positive health news in these difficult times.
Hi TeddysMum,
That's great news isn't it, I know I felt a bit better when I went from 4 monthly to 6 monthly. Although I see you have a cyst on your kidney, does that bother you at all? I believe any good news is so important especially during these very difficult times and its always something that is truly appiecated especially with some of the newer ladies.
Fantastic news indeed, here's for continued good news on the health front.
Sending you a celebration bear hug
