Hello ladies,

Sorry for not replying to everyone sooner but at present  I’m feeling pretty down and tired as if I’ve got no energy. I’m  constantly dozing off in my chair, guess I can’t moan at hubby anymore for doing that. I feel like I’m back on another rollercoaster, only this one is blooming annoying as it’s  a stop start job. As some of you know I had a bit of a scare last Wednesday with blood clots and bleeding but after talking to the nurse and you lovely ladies I knew what to expect or at least thought I did. Since then I’ve had a day of bleeding then nothing, then just as I think it’s stopping it starts up again. I phoned my GP just to check if there was anything else I needed to do or if I was doing something wrong but was told that I’m doing fine and unless I get a different pain from the menstrual cramps I’m getting then I shouldn’t worry about it, mind you it feels weird to be getting menstrual cramp like pains when everything I associate with that has been taken away.

Anyway thank you to everyone that answered my last post I’m really grateful for your help and support. I’m off to bed now and try to get some proper sleep.  One good thing is that the injections finish on Wednesday, and I definitely won’t be sorry to see them go. I might just have a mini party to celebrate ( tea and a scones) if I have enough energy. Grinning

  • Hi , although what your GP says sounds reassuring it doesn't always give us comfort. Its not just physical healing but emotional too and we need to know that everything is OK. Definitely keep an eye on it, its strange thought to period style cramp when our wombs have gone, I still get abdominal pain now although admittly its on the same side as my doggy kidney so could well be referred pain. But is always strange to get cramping period pain when we can't have a period and our womb has gone. If your at all concerned call your CNS about the pain as they can keep a check on it as everything you tell them goes into your file with the oncology team and they can always call you in to double check everything is OK, I also got told to keep a symptoms diary too this can be helpful to keep a track on things. I had some spotting of blood on and off but they didn't seem bothered as long as it wasn't persistent but they still preferred I told them then I not too. I hope it all settles down very soon and enjoy your tea and scone.Relaxed

    Big hugs
