Hello all,

Initially diagnosed (2019 July) with womb cancer did the surgery, confirmed after that it’s 3c1 ER + (apparently hormonal trigger) so had to do the chemo and radiotherapy, with brachytherapy at the end. Routine scan in December shows that I have small nodules consistent with metastasis (3mm-6mm) Since they are so small they are not considered significant. All bloods are good and no markers present. We gonna do another scan in a weeks time to see if anything is changing to start planning what options I have. Hoping/Praying for most positive outcome ...

Reaching out for help, read earlier that some lady’s hoped they knew things earlier, only once they started doing research they got more info! So hoping you can give me some kind or advice what your experience has been maybe some tips how you deal with this and did you find anything useful? Anything you have would be great? Did you find some diet restrictions to help you? Nothing dramatic just maybe helpful? Maybe you have some extra info to read?

I may have several options and wanted to hear what peoples experience has been with COPELIA, hormonal therapy, immune therapy? Has anything helped? Normal chemo? Anything else??

Also has anyone gone to other countries for extra opinions? If yes did you find it useful? maybe there is something in other countries that we don’t have here in UK?

Thank you for anyone who will contribute!

Sending love and support to everyone Xxx

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I don't have any experience with womb cancer to offer I'm afraid but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussions list where it'll be more easily seen.

I have found this information for you from Macmillan on womb cancer in case you haven't seen it. I know it's not as good as actually speaking to someone in the same situation but I hope it helps.

While you're waiting for replies you could use the group's search facility to look for topics you're interested in. For example I typed in 'COPELIA' and a number of previous posts came up.

When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
