Hi ladies, Well had the best news ever and I can finally get off this roller coaster of a journey. Got my histology results today and I'm in the clear. My cancer hadnt even escaped from my womb it was in the lining at a 1A. So no treatment needed. This group has been my rock over the last few months and want to thank you all for you lovely support. Wishing you all good news for the future. X
Hi janet mumof4, I am so pleased that you have received good news. We need more good news stories. This journey is such a worry anxiety journey for all of us that go through it and it really sends us to hell and back. You enjoy your family, you won't forget the journey unfortunately but try to turn it into a positive experience although this will take time. You are a stronger woman for going through it and that will never be taken away. Love your life to the full, appreciate everything and above all have a great future ahead. Happy New year. God bless. Love lamb.xx
I'm so emotional reading your beautiful reply little lamb such lovely words. I wasnt sure wether to post my good news as I know others arnt so fortunate or waiting but I'm sure it gives others hope that you can get through this. I dont know how I would of coped without this forum it's been amazing. Xx
Well if it's any comfort to know I wouldn't have coped without it either. It's a marvellous site where you can ask anything, rant about anything and all safe in the knowledge that somebody has gone through it, somebody can relate to how you feel, sound advice from our expert nurses and no feeling silly for asking what may seem to you a really dumb or embarrassing question. There is always somebody here to reassure and comfort you and I am still heavily reliant on my friends and experts in this and other groups. No, good news stories are very important to us all, not only as they inspire and give hope in dark moments but because we all follow the journeys, wonder how people are getting on and that person , although they may not consider themselves particularly important or significant to the site at the time of posting their story, inevitably become followers online friends and supporters and vital sources of information and experience and that can only help us all. So yes, you are a very important part of this forum janet and your good news will inspire And encourage others. As indeed your experience will help the next anxious patient who comes along. I am a great believer in keeping in touch. I know some prefer to forget, not be reminded and leave the forum completely and in some cases that is right and some leave for a bit then just post occasionally because of commitments in their life but at least you don't lose touch completely because people do wonder how others are getting on with their lives..well I do anyway . I hope you will stay in touch with us occasionally and let us know how you are doing. God bless you.xx
,
Good news is always welcome in the group because it gives hope to them newly diagnosed, just waiting on results etc and even with the ones who are sadly less fortunate they are happy for people as well. I bet your family is over joyed with happiness that despite your diagnosis you have got the best possible outcome.
Congratulations.

Wonderful news Janetmumof4, now is the time to reflect on what you’ve been through, how strong you’ve been & look forward to the future. All the best in 2021 xxx
Yaay, best news ever! I haven't posted for a couple of days as my sister-in-law died on Wednesday of pneumonia and covid. My brother-in-law can't cope, he's 86, no longer drives and doesn't have a computer so I've been arranging everything. Funnily enough considering I retired 17 years ago I'm really focused and it's taken my mind off what I've been through in the last 6 months!
Celebratory hugs to you, Barb xx

Hi Barb,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Woke up this morning and then it hit me I'm free after a lovely restful sleep. What strong women we are and how even though we have our own troubles we take comfort in helping our nearest and dearest. I'm so so sorry for your loss Barb I too lost my sister to MS and my poor mum thought she was going to loose 2 while I was poorly. You will get great comfort knowing your doing your best for Sister in caring for her hubby. You take care of yourself as well love xx
Little bear, I'm very moved by your inspiring words I'm very moved. Im always amazed how close we all are uniting in our battles and rejoicing in our successes. We have never met but have a sister like link to all the ladies on our group. I woke after a very restful sleep and the feeling when I woke and realised I'm free. I will stay with my family in here for sure and support, comfort and rejoice with all my sisters x
MrsBJH, Hi Barb, my condolences for your loss . Its great to be able to focus on something else away from what you have gone through these last six months but sadly not in the way you have had to do. Remember you can always call the helpline too if you ever need to an extra chat and we are all here for you too.
