Hi everyone, just wondering if it is normal NOT to have had a post treatment CT scan ? I was told by my CNS at my first follow up appointment that I would need one, but then the Doc came in and said no it wasn't necessary.  Any thoughts ?

Hi everyone.  Just to let you know that the biopsy wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated Blushthe worse thing for me was having to lie flat on my back for 4 hours ! So 2 weeks for results, back in the waiting game.

    Love to you all,

    LC

Hi LC, good to know that the biopsy went ahead successfully and wasn't too bad for you. It's a pain trying to lie still isn't it, especially for that length of time. I hope the two weeks pass quickly for you and that there is a good outcome at the end. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Gentle hugs coming your way. Love lamb.xx

Hello. So not good news, just trying to take it all in. NOT LUNG CANCER, but cancer in my lung from endometrial cancer, so secondaries. Back to my gynae team to decide what they can do. I'm gutted.

  • So sorry to hear this. Don’t know what to say except I hope your follow up treatment is quick  and successful. You are so supportive of people on here and generous to newbies like myself. I hope someone responds with helpful advice. Best wishes to you x

I'm so sorry to hear this LC..that's not the news we were hoping for. What a nuisance this disease is..just when you think you have got the better of it it comes back to bite you on the bum. So more worry, more waiting, more tests..It's just not fair sometimes. I hope the appointment with your team isn't too far away and you can get a treatment plan in place soon. In the meantime you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong sweetheart and don't let it get the better of you. Gentle hugs coming your way. Love lamb.xx
