Hi everyone,
I currently am waiting for my operation to remove VIN3 pre- cancer cells.
My operation was put back , as it was 12th may at first, but they cancelled it .
Anyway I know have a new date , 3rd June, but I am expecting some strange feeling ,
I have not been taking my HRT for 5 weeks know, due to waiting on operation, but my discharge, can be heavy, and at times have a unpleasant odour, with a yellowish colour.
I thought it may be thrush, I had a swab taken and are waiting results, but I wanted to know has anyone else experienced something similar?
I'm hopeful this one will not get cancelled,as I couldn't cope with another set back. I'm concerned about the operation, and the pain afterwards,as I'm experiencing more than enough now.
I would like to know , is it painful after operation ( I no there will be some discomfort, with the stitches)
How long does it take to heal?
I'm all prepared, I have the epsom salts ,sitz bath , ect. But I'm so fed up with the discomfort know, I'm hoping someone will tell me , healing doesn't take long. here hoping
Hi,
I know how you feel. I have had my 3rd surgery delayed due to heart issues &:will see consultant in June. However, I too am experiencing the odour from discharge, which I had prior to surgery no. 1. So I am pretty sure mine is back. All the washing in the world won't remove the odour, yet so many previous Doctors told me I was imagining it.
I am sorry this is happening to you but feel vindicated that at last I have found someone who is also aware of this.
I wish you every joy after your oeration when I assure you it will be gone.
Love Anniee
Thanks for your reply , I hope my second appointment for operation doesn't get cancelled, as I dnt know how I will cope again , with the waiting.its been a difficult road , and I never new , womens vulvas could cause so much distress & discomfort.
My hormones are at a high, right know , since I stopped taking them 5 weeks ago .
I've put a swab in To my doctor's and hoping to get results back tomorrow. Here hoping it's me stressing to much. Xx
