Hi ,

My consultant suggested using dilators. I didn’t have chemo or radiotherapy though, so it may be different for you. Do you have a specialist nurse? I find that they are usually very helpful and if they can’t answer my question then they will speak to my consultant and come back to me. It could be worth giving  them a try if you have one.

That's not what I'm having trouble with the tight Ness it's more the outside area where my scars are from where they took the lymph nodes my groin area feels almost like I can't open my legs that far. Didn't realize that it's a bank holiday I'll give them a ring on Tuesday x

I wonder whether it could be lymphoedema. Does the area look swollen? Either way I hope your nurse can be of some help.

Not really but it's a little red and hard but thank you feels like that could b it x

You can access some information on lymphoedema by clicking here. Tightness is a symptom, but I’m sure there could also be other things that could cause tightness. Hopefully your team check you out and make some suggestions soon.
