my mother had vulvar cancer four years ago
she sentinel node biopsy. She had nodes removed on left side and some taken out on the right
she had now had surgery again for vin 3 and a very small grade 2 SCC. We are distressed as she had a pet scan before surgery back in August. She then had surgery in September. We are still awaiting to see a consultant for her pet scan results. I’m worried it may have spread

I'm sorry to hear that it's taking a while to get the results of your mum's PET scan and it's natural to be worried. Has she spoken to her CNS to find out what is causing the delay?
