I wouldn’t think this was normal. If I was you then I would ring your surgeon’s secretary and ask for advise. They should have given you a contact number, if not then ask your GP or your MacMillan nurse. In the meantime keep it clean with cool water and pat dry. You don’t want to get any infection, please let us know how you get on. Rest up too.
