I want to say fml… there I’ve said it.
Healing is going ok. Phew.
Then I get my period, a bit of a panic as I think my stitches have totally split… phew, no and thankfully the fibroid removal has seemed to work. No pain, less blood.
Then…. 5 days post op, I think I’m getting piles.. 7 days post op.. itching and oh yes after an inspection I definitely have. This I discovered after 5 pm on the Friday so unable to contact my nurses. Off to Asda I go, with the fella driving, but did need the fresh air. Suppositories and cream got, my post wee/poo, as well as the water bottle squirter, now it’s, pat, dryer and then sorting the backside out.
on a plus note, the sitz bath is amazing… got one with a squirty thing and works a dream.
I will be asking the GP for advice on Monday and and I calling the nurses. I’ve had piles before, but not this big nor as painful.
If you’ve got this far, sorry about the waffle.
Has anyone had them post surgery?
If so, how did they go?
Did you have to have them surgically removed?
Any advice?
Thank you x
