Hi everyone

I have recently been diagnosed with vin 3.

I'm currently waiting to see another specialist my local hospital can't do the surgery due to the area that needs to be removed.

I'm so scared for when they do operate incase they find it is cancer.

I am considering trying the cream, but have read about the side effects and then people still needing surgery.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. The waiting is torture isn’t it?
I will follow your post (I have vin 2 only on clitoris) and waiting for vulvoscopy (biopsy was done first) and I’ve been wondering about the cream as well (especially since I don’t particularly want my clitoris removed!)

    good luck

  • Good luck to you too.

Yes it's the waiting and the unknown that awful. I'm having good days now and then, mainly bad days, I don't want to go out the house let alone go to work Sob

My next appointment is weeks away

  • I’m sorry you are having more bad days than good but yep I totally get the unknown and the anxiety loop that goes through our heads, well definitely mine.

i hope you find the motivation to go outside even for 5 minutes. Work can be crap I totally get that! My solace sometimes comes from flowers and nature at this time of year. I also have a history of mental health struggles and I’ve been very lucky to get good help over the years. I realise you aren’t asking advice about this but one thing I have found useful is an app called Balance which has short mindfulness sessions and there are a couple called Immersive Waves or Thunderstorms that allow a brief reset, maybe a used resource x
sending you good vibes and positive wishes.

  • perfectly imperfect

  • Thank you for the reply it really means a lot to me. Yes the grate outdoors is an excellent healer especially for mental health! I'll try the apps, love a good thunderstorm!! I also have mental health problems it's been a tough. Think my biggest problem is I don't talk about things, even writing this is difficult.

Anyway hope you are doing well Heartpulse

Please keep me posted on how you are getting on it's good to speak to someone that is going through the same thing (but not good).
