Hi, my husband is struggling with cancer fatigue, particularly the not sleeping at night then sleeping into the morning. He has been on Zopiclone and now on Melatonin Teva, neither have been any use. No matter what we try, nothing is breaking the cycle. It has now been several weeks of this sleep pattern and we are both exhausted (I am still working so need some sleep to function). Does anyone have any sound/proven tips please?
Hi Muchy
I'm sorry to read that your husband is struggling with fatigue and I can understand how it's impacting you both.
Fortunately, I didn't suffer with this but you might find this booklet from Macmillan helpful. You can either download it online or order it in paper format if you'd prefer.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
