Update.
Diagnosis sept 2020. Removal of lymph nodes in the neck, followed by Six months chemo , carboplatin and plaxatol and then remission.
9 months clear. In that time three monthly scans and blood tests.
January 2022 lymph nodes once again enlarged , no organs involved. Slight scar on liver. Six more rounds of chemo treatment same as before.
Finished chemo treatment twelve weeks ago. All cancer markers and lymph nodes completely normal, liver scar gone.
There's always hope.
Two years post diagnosis

Zarasmum’ i am having lymph nodes removed from my armpit’ this is secondary as they cant find the primary. Did you have unknown primary? Thank you for positivity.
Hi yes I have cancer unknown primary. Please feel free to ask any questions
Can you tell me how an unknown is treated if it can’t be found? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I feel so frustrated and confused. I am having the lymph glands removed on the 21 st. Thank you.
It varies but in my case I had chemotherapy treatment, almost generic chemotherapy. I had carboplatin and plaxatol. A friend who was diagnosed with similiar had immunotherapy. It's a really frustrating diagnosis because there is very little information to take on board, unlike other cancers. I'm presuming you have the cancer only in your lymph nodes and not anywhere else?
Hi Bethania. I’m a mate of Zarasmum. The usual is chemotherapy then scans to check progress. The chemo protocol depends on what sort of cancer they find in your lymph nodes.
Tanya has said in her first post what she had.
Your team will really look after you and they are good at what they do so try not to worry
