Hello, my husband was recently in his 4th year remission from stage 3c testicular cancer. A recent check up and tests show Adenocarcinoma of unknown primary. Has anyone had experience with this?
mom so scared of all the reading I do on CUP

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

This must be a very difficult time for you and your husband, more so because being in remission from testicular cancer you must both have felt that cancer was something you could almost forget about.

My cancer isn't CUP, so I can't share any experiences with you, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. I've searched the group for previous posts which mention adenocarcinoma and found these for you to have a look through.

When you feel up to it, it would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Please read my updated post. I do have experience of this cancer.  Yes it's s crappy diagnosis but it's not all doom.  Please don't read about CUP most are medical papers and Talkin averages not reality.  Ask away if you have any questions
