  • How did you feel after the treatment? Did you get nausea and other side effects? Are you worried at all regarding side affects?

  • The only side effect I had was that I felt a little tired for a couple of days, but that was all. When are you due your first infusion?

  • That’s really helpful thanks Pray

I’m due anytime now after I have my teeth checked out.

  • I am having it every 6 months for 3 years. Infusion 1 was given on the day I started chemo, so any side effects got lost in the mix. Infusion 2 made me a bit tired and achy for a couple of days. 4 more to go.

  • Thanks for your reply.

Looks like no 2 persons are having the same treatment regime. The zometa was only offered to me at the end of all my chemo had finished. I didn’t tolerate well to all my chemo treatments so I’m a bit worried again with the zometa, the leaflet says a lot of side effects, but you are the second person who said the side effects were only tiredness and aches, should I be less worried??

  • I think it’s very much easier than chemo, you should be right as rain after a couple of days. I was slightly surprised to get any effects at all.
